A webinar on “Out of the Box Thinking Leads to Innovation-Opportunities to Young Student Entrepreneurs” was organized by the Department of Biotechnology, School of Engineering and Technology on 18th August, 2021. The webinar was addressed by Dr. Joish Madhusudhana Murthy, Manager Entrepreneurship and Career Hub (ECH), University of Rajasthan, Jaipur.

The webinar was organized in collaboration with ‘Entrepreneurship and Career Hub’ (ECH), University of Rajasthan, Jaipur, and was attended by more than 45 participants including students and faculty members. The aim of the webinar was to make the students aware of the facilities provided by the Entrepreneurship cell of the university for establishment of new start-ups by students, scholars and faculty members. In his talk, Dr. Murthy discussed how young entrepreneurs can make their ideas and innovation come true through an incubation centre run by ECH cell, University of Rajasthan. Dr. Murthy also discussed about patent filing and how incubation cell can help in filing of national and international patents; on any new innovation or discoveries made by students or faculty members. The webinar was very interactive and all the queries raised by the students were answered by the speaker satisfactorily.
