Jaipur National University is a private self-financed University sponsored by the Mahima Shiksha Samiti. With the philanthropic orientation of its sponsoring body and the State’s policies, the University involves itself in character-building activities for the students and community service in various ways.
The University awards a number of scholarships and free ships based on merit. Over INR 10 crores are provided every year for the scholarships.
The University supports deserving students to gain quality education and contribute to the State, Nation, and society’s progress.
As one of the top colleges in Rajasthan, JNU works continuously towards the betterment of society through various initiatives. Social responsibility takes many forms such as providing affordable education, free healthcare, beautifying an area, enabling the girl child to reach her potential, and many more.
Renovation and beautification of the area under the Jagatpura Flyover
JNU’s students joined a movement with the Government of Rajasthan to beautify the flyovers and elevated roads of Jaipur with paintings and murals. They decorated one busy section of the Jaipur-Agra bypass near the Jagatpura Railway station, under the Jagatpura Flyover.
The students installed multiple statues to showcase the JNU story and imbued a sense of pride towards children, especially the girl child.
Save the Girl Child

This social initiative undertaken by the Jaipur National University Hospital helps fight against India’s female foeticide practice.
It is both a national problem and a social evil that needs educating the masses and better monitoring. Being a top university in Rajasthan, JNU undertook the responsibility to tackle this issue by educating the public.
Free Medical Services
Free medical treatment is provided through this initiative to girls under five years of age. We also organized a langar seva and conducted a free medical checkup camp for all. The free medical camps also provided health services to hundreds of people in the area.

Beti Padhao Beti Bachao campaign

In association with the Rajasthan Sikh Samaj, Jaipur National University Hospital organized an event at the Khalsa Heritage Complex in Adarsh Nagar. Medical and financial aid was offered to over 200 girls residing in the area.
JNU IMSRC Managed Sambhariya PHC
Following the Cabinet decision chaired by Chief Minister Smt Vasundhara Raje in June 2016, the Primary Health Centers (PHCs) in Rajasthan now run through a public-private partnership (PPP). Jaipur National University's Hospital partnered with the state government to provide the citizens of Rajasthan with quality healthcare at affordable costs at their doorsteps.
JNU Hospital has adopted the Sambhariya PHC and regularly provides specialist doctors, free medicine and diagnosis and immunization services.
Jaipur National University Hospital organizes blood donation camps
To serve the humanity, JNU Hospital organizes Blood Donation Camps regularly. On the occasion of "Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya Jayanti" on September 25, 2015, more than 150 volunteers from different colleges participated in the camp & donated blood to more than 600 units. All sections of society should contribute towards the society and save lives.
Cadaver Pledge or Body Donation
Donating a cadaver (body of the deceased) for scientific research is one of the most inspiring sacrifices that a deceased’s family can undertake. It is an expression of an ultimate level of belonging to society.
The Medical College uses the cadavers to gain a better understanding of various ailments, diseases, and diagnoses to develop possible treatment and medication courses.

Special Drives for the Needy
JNU organizes various welfare programmes through its faculty and students in the city of Jaipur and beyond. Special drives are undertaken to uplift the underprivileged and needy to give them a chance to lead their lives with dignity and honor.
The University provides dedicated services in healthcare, education, and skill development programs for community welfare. The management stays firmly committed to promoting safety, health, and hygiene in all areas it serves.
International Women's Day
We celebrate the stories, beauty, strength, and spirit of JNU Women through International Women's Day at the School of Engineering & Technology. The last event held was graced by enthusiastic and energetic women from JNU and outside, who provided a plethora of valuable suggestions. These suggestions will help the university to further focus on uplifting the women in our society.
