Depending upon your choice of discipline and programme, the undergraduate courses can be of 3 to 5 years, the postgraduate courses of 1 to 2 years, the research programmes from 3 to 5 years, and the diploma / certificate courses are of 3 months to 3 years duration.

Capitation fees are not charged and never shall be charged at JNU. All fees can be paid through the online method, wire transfer, or credit/debit card. The payments can be made in equivalent amounts of US dollars in Indian Rupees.

We have limited seats for each course, and the admission process commences from March / April each year. We recommend you apply as soon as possible.

If you fulfill the course’s minimum requirements along with the suitable GATE, MAT, CAT or other applicable national entrance test, you may apply with the first two-year mark sheets and the examination score. The final semester pass certificate will be required within six months of joining the postgraduate course.
