School of Business & Management of our University has initiated Corporate Leadership Professional talks on the various dimension of corporate learning. Such collaborations enable the faculty members and students to learn the contemporary requirement at industry levels.

For this, an "Industry Luminary Lecture Series" has been initiated by our University. Under the series, eminent industrialists and researchers would share their knowledge and expertise with the students and faculty members. Accordingly, the sessions for the year 2022-23 was planned in April 2023 wherein four different sessions were organised by following Industry Luminaries

The first session was on the ongoing concern Corporate Sustainability by Ms. Deepali, Senior Manager, Zomato which was organised on 08thApril 2023 at 2.30 p.m.

She gave opening remark as corporate sustainability has become a buzzword in companies big and small. It creates sustainable, long-term shareholder, employee, consumer, and societal value by pursuing responsible environmental, social, and economic (or governance) strategies.

She elaborated and thrust upon:

• There are three pillars of corporate sustainability: the environmental, the socially responsible, and the economic.
• Companies can improve their environmental sustainability by, for example, reducing their carbon footprint or wasteful practices.
• The social responsibility pillar represents practices that benefit the company's employees, consumers, and the wider community.
• The economic (or governance) pillar refers to maintaining honest and transparent accounting practices and regulatory compliance.
