Industrial visit is vital for any student undergoing professional education of HMCT to have firsthand experience of the atmosphere apart from working of industrial equipments and machinery which Hospitality students will come across once they enter into professional field. Industrial visit is the way to help Hotel management student to get acquainted and co-ordinate with what they did in their professional institutes. Industrial visit can be very useful to hotel management students in terms of getting practical knowledge and develop as Hospitality professional.

The department of SHMCT has organized a one day Industrial visit for 28 students in Jawahar Kala Kendra, Food Festival. It is time for yet another food and fun carnival! This time it is not just about food, but a chance for you to get your name registered in a world record. The festival celebrates the variety of food available in and the different cuisines from every corner of our country. Along with a taste of authentic street food, guests at this festival will be able to savour scrumptious Rajasthani delicacies prepared by the students of hotel management institute. The 3 day event at JKK will have stalls showcasing varieties of food spreads ranging from soups to salads, North Indian to South Indian, sweets to chats and special stalls on bakery items.

The visit has proved as an opportunity to learn Administration and Departmental operations aspects of the real world. After then visit about 88% students suggests that more Industrial visits should be organized.
