The students of the School of Social Design recently visited Goodwill Impex Limited, a leading export house specializing in garment manufacturing. During the visit, students gained hands-on knowledge of the manufacturing process, from fabric layering to stitching, observing the operation of different machines. They also learned about the intricate process of attaching buttons, accessories, and government-mandated export materials, including tags and care labels. Witnessing the finishing and packaging processes provided insight into the final stages of garment production.

This immersive experience not only deepened their understanding of industry standards but also inspired students to consider various steps and methods in their own design processes.
