The School of Media Studies, JNU, celebrated World Radio Day with an exciting event titled "Radio Fiesta" on 11th February 2025. This event was organized in collaboration with Akashvani Jaipur. The event highlighted the role of radio as a timeless and influential medium, bringing together students, faculty members, and distinguished guests for a day of learning, cultural performances, and creative expressions. More than 100 students from the School of Media Studies (SMS), and other schools of JNU participated in the celebration. One of the standout moments of the event was "Echos of Tradition", a mesmerizing Sarangi performance by the renowned artist Sabir Khan. Radio Play and Skit; Musical Performance; Three dynamic dance performances, Fashion Show on the theme of Radio were the highlights of the program.
