The School of Fashion Design, Jaipur National University, joyfully celebrated Janmashtami on 14th August 2025 under the theme “Mor Mukut Mahotsav: Melody, Masti & Murli.” The celebration witnessed the enthusiastic participation of B.Sc. Fashion Design, MBA (1st & 2nd year), and Diploma students. The event was filled with devotion, cultural vibrance, and festive energy, reflecting the spirit of Lord Krishna’s life and teachings. Students beautifully decorated the venue with flowers, rangolis, and thematic artwork, creating a divine atmosphere. Traditional performances including dance, music, skits, and a fashion styling inspired by Krishna and Radha brought alive the tales of Krishna’s childhood and his eternal bond with Radha. A Janmashtami Quiz added an engaging and educational dimension to the festivities, making the event both joyful and interactive. Faculty members encouraged students to imbibe values of love, joy, and togetherness through such cultural celebrations. The program concluded with soulful bhajans and prasad distribution, leaving everyone with a sense of devotion and happiness.
