The SHMCT department conducted an extension activity to provide a chance to the students to know the social problems. The extension activity was undertaken on 09-03-2024 at 3 pm at Kho-nagoriya where 2 Faculty Members distributed Food. The purpose of this activity is to provide clothes to the needy and poor Tribal Children, Families nearby adopted village at Kho-nagoriya. The University management provided bus facility for the students to reach out to the slum and then back to college.

It was indeed a very meaningful effort taken by the faculty and students of Department of Hotel Management with regard to social cause. The whole drive was very fruitful for the villagers. As a result, they appeared very much positive and supportive about the programme when they witnessed sympathy and painstaking efforts for tribal children. They also thanked and appreciated all faculty members and students for taking the initiative in these regards.

Both faculty members suggested that this kind of extension activities was so effective and should be done on regular basis. The students and faculty members also felt that the energy level were high and show interest in this activity.
