On February 1, 2024, Jaipur National University's School of Education hosted an extension lecture featuring Mrs. Smita Gupta Agrawal, an IIT executive in Corporate America and former Mrs. India Globe and Mrs. Asia Pacific 2004. She shared insights from her debut book “Illuminating Shadows,” highlighting her journey of resilience and determination as a single mother. Prof. Rita Arora welcomed Mrs. Agrawal and introduced the session.

Mrs. Agrawal led activities emphasizing problem-solving over complaining, encouraging students to focus on solutions. Discussions included spending quality time with family away from mobile phones and developing emotional intelligence. The lecture concluded with a Q&A session, leaving students motivated and enriched with life skills. Sixty-three students benefited from the session. Prof. Rita Arora expressed gratitude and stressed the importance of learning from personal experiences.
