On 8th November 2024, the School of Media Studies at Jaipur National University hosted an enlightening guest lecture titled "Journey from Conventional to Contemporary Journalism," delivered by Dr. Mithelesh Jaimini, a renowned Senior Political Analyst. The session aimed to provide insights into the changing landscape of journalism. Dr. Mithelesh Jaimini delved into the evolution of journalism, contrasting traditional journalism's principles with the demands and nuances of contemporary media. The students learnt about the Shift from Conventional to Contemporary Journalism, Importance of Staying Informed and Learning from Situations by modern media platforms.
