Dr .S. Selvakumar, Professor, Bahirdhar University, Ethiopia delivered a guest lecture on 14-11-2025 online in the SOET auditorium. He spoke about machine learning for biometrics, key Machine learning techniques in Biometrics, deep learning, research trends and Applications ,challenges in ML-Based Biometrics and future directions. He also elucidated clearly about biometrics types and implementation with application. He motivated students to further pursue biometrics field which has ample opportunities in the immediate future. He made the session highly interactive, and the students benefitted a lot.
