Extension activity for assessing nutritional status of school going children

The School of Allied Health Science conducted a one-day Extension Activity at Mahatma Gandhi School English Medium, Kundanpura on 27th July 2024. This activity was designed to provide our students with valuable hands-on experience in assessing the nutritional status of school-going children.
The primary objective of this extension activity was to bridge theoretical knowledge with practical application, enabling students to develop essential skills in nutritional assessment through the use of tools such as height and weight measurement, Mid-Upper Arm Circumference (MUAC), and haemoglobin assessment.
