The School of Media Studies (SMS), Jaipur National University organized a grand event on 13th August 2025 to mark the release of the book titled Capturing 78 Years of Change, Culture and Communication on the occasion of Independence Day 2025. The book was formally released by Prof. H. N. Verma (Pro-Chancellor) and Prof. R. L. Raina (Vice-Chancellor), along with the editors. The volume is a significant contribution to media and cultural studies, comprising 54 scholarly articles reflecting diverse perspectives on India’s transformation in communication, culture, and society over the past 78 years. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from faculty, students, and researchers, who appreciated the book as a valuable academic resource. The release reinforced SMS’s commitment to documenting change and fostering critical dialogue in media and cultural discourse.
