Career Paths
Cardiopulmonary physiotherapists work with patients of all ages who have various cardiovascular and respiratory conditions, including but not limited to:
- Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD)
- Asthma
- Cystic fibrosis
- Chronic heart failure
- Myocardial infarction (heart attack)
- Post-operative cardiac or thoracic surgery
- Pulmonary hypertension
- Interstitial lung diseases
- Neuromuscular respiratory conditions
