Industrial Visit or Industrial Tour among the engineering students is a vital event per their curriculum where the students need to visit a company. With an aim to go beyond academics, a visit was organized at PHED, Jodhpur. Public Health Engineering Department (PHED) is committed to provide potable water to every citizen of the state. Rajasthan, despite being the largest state of the country (in terms of area), has limited water resources. Erratic rainfall, depleting water table and a huge livestock make the task of providing potable water, even more challenging. Students got opportunity to see the real workstations, plants, machines, systems and their working.
