School of Education, Jaipur National University, Jaipur, had organized WORLD ENVIRONMENT DAY, under the banner of NSS, from 5th June, 2021. In this programme, the Director of School of Education, Prof. Kamla Vashishth, and research advisor, Prof. Rita Arora, enlightened the students by their valuable words and shared the awareness of nature, and to work for its protection. It is a day that reminds everyone on the planet, to get involved in environment friendly activities, and be personally responsible towards Nature.  People came together to pledge towards building a greener planet. Prof. Meenu Singh (Senior deputy director, NSS programme officer, co-ordinated the programme successfully, and encouraged the participants, as the youth of the country, to be conscious and protective towards the environment, and keeping with this aim in mind, celebrated the World Environment Day, enthusiastically. Everyone planted a sapling to create a green corner. 20 Students actively participated in the programme. The event was conducted successfully, with whole hearted participation and awareness about nature, plants and environment.
