School of Education, Jaipur National University, Jaipur had organized an online International Youth Day (IYD), under the banner of NSS, on 12th August, 2020. International Youth Day is commemorated every year on 12th August. The Focal Point on Youth selects a theme for the day, often with input from youth organizations, and members of the UN Inter-Agency Network in Youth development.  More than 59 participants ensured their participation.  International Youth Day (IYD) is an awareness day designated by the United Nations. The purpose of the day is to draw attention to a given set of cultural and legal issues facing the youth. The first IYD was observed on 12th August, 2000. All the participants expressed their original views about the International Youth Day.

 

 Prof. Kamla Vashisth, Director, SOE and Prof. Rita Arora, Additional Director, inspired and motivated all the participants . Prof. Meenu Singh coordinated the programme successfully and encouraged the participants as the youth of the country, to be responsible and active.
