A one-day awareness programme on Menstrual Hygiene Awareness & Free Sanitary Pad Distributionwas organized by School of Life and Basic Sciences, Jaipur National University, Jaipur in association with Unnat Bharat Abhiyan on 15July,2023. The resource persons of the eventis Prof. Divya Shrivastava, Director School of Life and Basic Sciences.The purpose of organizing such activity is to create an awareness among the rural people regarding importance of menstrualhygiene to protect from various infections and provide sanitary pad to needy people in rural area. The programme started with the Motivational talk by Prof. Divya Shrivastava. The total number of 30students participated in the event. Students spread the awareness about mensuration hygiene and distribute sanitary pad among the village women. Major highlight of the event is generate awareness about the importance of menstrual hygiene practices and latest sustainable and environment friendly methods for maintaining good environment practices.
