School of Media Studies of Jaipur National University organized a Guest Lecture on “Importance of public relations in present scenario" on 12th November 2022 from 12:30 PM to 2:00 PM. The guest lecture gather eminent speaker: Mr. Kunal Vashistha, Public Relations officer of Government of Rajasthan. The lecture was attended by 30 students and Faculty members of Media Department.

The guest speaker was heartily welcomed by Ms. Yogita Khurana (Assistant Professor).  The guest speaker Mr. Kunal Vashistha having 5+ years of rich experience in public relations in corporate and political arena. Being alumni he even shared his experience with all the young faces. During his lecture he covered creativity input in advertisement, importance of press release, and in detail explained the working of corporate, government and, political public relations.

 The session was very interactive and students participated enthusiastically. In the beginning Mr. Kunal gave the introduction on working of public relations, crisis management and creating network. Later he explained skills to be required and importance of attending media events. After the lecture, Q/A session were organized and the blooming buds of media department got answer to all of their queries. Guest speaker impressed by the students offered the internships to the best deserving students.
