On 29th November 2024, Jaipur National University, in collaboration with DISHA Foundation, organized a seminar on “Caring for Children with Disabilities” at the Department of Physiotherapy, JNU Hospital. The session was led by Dr. Arundhati Mahori, a Senior Physiotherapist at DISHA Foundation, who emphasized the importance of focusing on children’s abilities rather than their disabilities. Students gained valuable insights into strategies for empowering children with disabilities, enhancing their functional independence, and fostering a positive outlook toward their capabilities. The seminar proved to be an enriching learning experience approach towards specially abled children for all participants.
