The Department of Computer Science and Engineering organized a workshop on "Robotics & IoT" from October 21 to 26, 2024, at the SOET Auditorium. Led by Mr. Sangeet Chopra, Founder and CEO of Cyber Cure Technologies Pvt. Ltd., the workshop aimed to provide Computer Science students with practical skills in robotics and the Internet of Things (IoT). The workshop covered key topics such as robotics fundamentals, IoT architecture, sensors, actuators, and IoT protocols. Students participated in hands-on lab sessions, building simple robotics setups and IoT projects to enhance problem-solving skills. A significant focus was placed on cybersecurity in IoT, addressing the risks associated with connected devices. Daily Q&A sessions allowed students to interact with Mr. Chopra, gaining insights into industry trends and career opportunities. The workshop successfully blended theoretical knowledge with practical experience, equipping students with valuable, industry-relevant skills in robotics and IoT.
