Summer Skill Development Workshop – 2026

The School of Life and Basic Sciences successfully organized a One-Month Summer Skill Development Workshop – 2026 from 1 June to 30 June 2026 with theme “Transforming Knowledge into Experiential Learning” with the participation of undergraduate students from Biotechnology and Microbiology. The programme was designed to provide hands-on laboratory training and enhance students' technical competencies through experiential learning.

The workshop was inaugurated in the presence of university dignitaries and faculty members. Participants underwent intensive training in Molecular Biology and Microbiology, covering both theoretical concepts and practical laboratory techniques. Interactive lectures, laboratory demonstrations, and guided practical sessions enabled students to gain exposure to contemporary research methodologies and scientific instrumentation.

The programme concluded with a valedictory ceremony, where participants shared their learning experiences and were awarded certificates in recognition of their successful completion of the workshop. The Summer Skill Development Workshop – 2026 reinforced the School's commitment to promoting skill-based education, research-oriented learning, and the development of competent future professionals in the life sciences.
