Orientation Programme on Climate Change

Two-day orientation programme commenced from 13th March, 2023 in School of Education, Jaipur National University. Dr. Sarina Kalia (Department of Geography, University of Rajasthan) expressed her thoughts on "Climate Change with reference to Rajasthan". She said that GHG has to be reduced; longer cropping seasons have to be increased basis her suggestions to improve the situation. Al Gore's famous documentary "An Inconvenient Truth" was shown to the students, which effectively served the purpose.
Prof. D.S. Chauhan explained the climatic conditions of Pre-and-Post Industrial Revolution. UNO is also striving hard to sustain and maintain the temperature. Prof. Rita Arora, highlighted the mitigation and paradigmatic adaptations related to climate change
