National Seminar on "Tribal Development: Experience, Problems and Challenges" was Organised by the School of Social Sciences, Jaipur National University on January 11, 2020, in association with the National Academy of Sciences, India (NASI). Prof. Minaketan Behera (Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi) was the Chief Guest of the Seminar. The event was also graced with the presence of various experts hailing from prestigious institutions such as Dr. Sailaja Nandigama (BITS Pilani), Dr. Veena Trivedi (Jaipur National University) & Prof, Deepak Kumar. Our Hon'ble Vice-Chancellor Prof. H.N. Verma said that JNU Jaipur frequently organises such intellectual platforms that strives to bridge the gap and create awareness towards such issues of national interest. The National Seminar presented realities, issues, and challenges confronting tribes in various contexts in contemporary modern India.
