The School of Media Studies (SMS), Jaipur National University celebrated World Photography Day on 19th August 2025 with a creative event titled “My Favourite Photo & Know Your Camera.” The program highlighted the art and technique of photography, providing a platform for students to showcase their talent. Out of nearly 100 photo entries, the best photograph was selected as the “Favourite Photo”, receiving appreciation from faculty and peers alike. A practical workshop was also conducted by a Lumix/Panasonic expert, who shared valuable insights on camera handling, technical features, and creative framing. The session combined learning with inspiration, encouraging students to explore photography not just as a hobby but also as a professional skill. The event successfully reflected the spirit of World Photography Day by blending creativity, knowledge, and hands-on experience.
