Our School of Business and Management organized an Interactive Workshop on Chase your Dreams from Campus to Corporate on 24th November 2023 from 11.30 a.m. onwardsthrough Google Meet Platform. The speaker of the session was Ms. Sheetal Purohit, Co-Founder & COO of Erisha EduSupport. There were 100 participants in the session.

The session was Moderated by CA Shaifali Mathur and was coordinated by Mr. Dhruv Saxena who also provided technical support.

Honorable Vice Chancellor Sir was present for the beginning and welcomed the speaker and also gave his full support by attending the session in between. The speaker Ms Sheetal started the session with brief description of Rana Group of Companies as Erisha EduSupport is the part of it.  She talked about various aspects such as-

• Understanding the campus recruitment process and its stages.
• Importance of Early preparation and planning.
• What are the soft skills and its importance for career growth?
• Setting career goals and aligning them with recruitment expectations.

 She further stated the importance of Campus Placement.The task of filling up vacant positions in an organization is extremely important and must be done right in order to get the best people to work for you and take the company forward with their skills and dedication. Companies have been using a variety of methods to employ and select personnel to work for them and Campus Recruitment is one of the newest methods used by most Companies today.

She focused on the strengths and weaknesses of interview. Interview skills are crucial for success. They include effective communication, body language, and preparation. These skills help in presenting oneself confidently. A job interview is a great place to showcase your personality, highlight your strengths and leave a positive impression on your potential employer. Having certain interviewing skills like a positive attitude, honesty, communication and active listening can influence the hiring decision in your favor. This means it is important to work on some of the key interview skills to get hired for your desired job role. The speaker gave her deliberation with the help of Power Point Presentation.She stressed that even though one can be smart and give the right answers initially but in the end honesty and sincerity is what enables an employee to do well.

The speaker was very kind to share her contact details with the students and gave an open offer to help out the students in their preparation for the corporate world.

At the last, Students asked questions from the speaker. Overall, it was a Great Session well appreciated by the students.
