This summary captures the two-day program of presentations and keynote addresses, which took place from the 25th &26th March 2022. The event brought together some 160 plus research scholars, members of faculty, students, and key officials nationally and internationally to discuss the recent advances in engineering and technology. It concluded with a set of presentations of real-world cases describing new and noteworthy initiatives relevant to the conference theme.

The first day of the conference started with an inaugural session with a welcome note and conference overview by Conference Chair of IAET 2022. The Conference Souvenir was released by Hon’ble Chancellor, Pro Chancellor, Vice Chancellor, Rector, Conference Chair and Chief Guest. Hon’ble Chancellor, honored the Chief Guest with a token of appreciation in the form of a memento. This was followed Address by the Vice Chancellor Prof. R.L. Raina and Presidential Address by Dr. Sandeep Bakshi, Chancellor, Jaipur National University, Jaipur. The inaugural address was by Dr. Samit Sharma,Commissioner, Industries, CSR & Special Secretary Industries, Govt. of Rajasthan.Dr. Rajive Mathur, Director, School of Engineering and Technology, JNU, presented the Vote of Thanks

The technical sessions followed the inaugural session and the main keynote lecture. The two-day conference comprised of eight technical sessions, some of them scheduled concurrently. The conference theme was divided into 12 sessions in order to accommodate the large number of presentations. Each session had a Chair, who were experts in the domain. Each author was given 10 minutes for the paper presentation, which was followed by question and answer session for 5 minutes. The conference was structured to foster discussion between participants. Each theme started with a keynote lecture by an eminent personality in the domain.

A Keynote lecture on “Nanostructured hetero-junction n-SnO2/Si for UV Detection on Silicon Chip” was delivered by Dr. V.K. Jain, Scientist and Professor, Amity University Noida. A keynote lecture on “Humanizing Machines: A Multimodal Approach to Affective Computing” was delivered by Dr. Ashutosh Modi, Computer Science & Technology department, IIT, Kanpur. A Keynote lecture on “Cyber Physical Systems” was delivered by Dr. Rajeev Sharma, Scientist-F, DST, Delhi. A keynote lecture on “Antenna Technology for 6G Communication Systems: Recent Advances and Future Challenges”, was delivered by Dr. Ghanshyam Singh, Professor, Department of Electrical and Electronic Sciences, University of Johannesburg, South Africa. A Keynote lecture on “Chemically Modified Bioadsorbents for the Adsorptive Removal of Trace Concentration of Arsenic from Water”, was delivered by Prof. Megh Raj Pokhrel, Central Department of Chemistry, Tribhuvan University, Nepal. A Keynote lecture on “INDUSTRY 4.0” was delivered by Prof. Satya N Vijayvergiya, Technical Director, GENUS, Jaipur. A keynote lecture on “Numerical Studies of Active Flow Control and Aerospace Applications” delivered was Dr. Ramesh Agarwal, Professor, Mechanical Engineering & Material Science, Washington University in St. Louis,USA. A Keynote lecture on “Biomedical Imaging & Sensors” was delivered by Dr. Renu John, Assistant Professor, Biomedical Engineering, IIT, Hyderabad. A Keynote on “Use of Microalgae in Environmental and Energy applications” was delivered by Prof. Kisay Lee, Dept. of Environmental Engineering and Energy, Myongji University, South Korea. A Keynote lecture on “ Thermal Imaging based techniques for Condition Monitoring of Electrical Assets” was delivered by Dr. ZainulAbdinJaffery, Professor, Department of Electrical Engineering, Jamia Millia Islamia University, New Delhi.
