The guest lecture given by Prof (Dr) EVD Sastry, Head of the Department, School of Agricultural Sciences, Jaipur National University, Jaipur and Mr. Rishabh Johari, Sales Manager, Manupatra cover the library's extensive resources, such as books, journals, and online databases, and how to access them through the Online Public Access Catalog (OPAC). The lecture also emphasizes information literacy skills, guiding students on how to use these resources effectively for research and learning. The session aimed at familiarising participants with the use of Manupatra, one of the most widely used legal research tools in India, and to equip them with the skills needed to leverage its features for more efficient legal research. The lecture covered its essential resources like statutes, case law, textbooks, and journals, how to navigate legal databases and citator services, the importance of starting research with textbooks, leveraging library staff for assistance, and the role of the library as a central hub for legal education and research. The guest lecture included students from 3rd year to final year along with the faculties who were keen to enhance their legal research skills. The session saw active participation from law students, faculty members, and entrepreneurs. The guest lecture had an interactive Q&A segment, where participants clarified doubts regarding online resources access.
