It covers the fundamentals of cybersecurity and ethical hacking, emphasizing their importance, ethics, and legal aspects. Participants will see live demonstrations on mobile security, including malicious apps, phishing attacks, and insecure Wi-Fi, along with practical defense strategies. The session also focuses on essential cyber hygiene practices such as using strong passwords, enabling two-factor authentication, safe browsing habits, VPN usage, and regular data backups. Real-world case studies on scams, impersonation, and social engineering are discussed to build practical understanding. Finally, participants are guided on reporting incidents through Helpline 1930 or the official portal cybercrime.gov.in, along with advice on evidence collection for effective resolution.
