Cadaveric Multi Organ Retrieval

A world wide webinar on ‘CADAVERIC MULTI ORGAN RETRIEVAL’ was organized at this lab in collaboration with Rajasthan Urological Society & Medtronic to demonstrate harvesting of the major organs of the body like Liver, Heart and Kidney from the brain dead/cadaveric patient for subsequent transplantation into needy patients. Webinar Organising Secretary Dr. Ritesh Mehta Senior Consultant Urology of JNU Hospital said that webinar was aimed at to disclose the details on how to carry out step wise approach to retrieve Liver, Heart and Kidney for transplantation to the needy patient.
Over 1000 Urology surgeons across the globe participated in this mega event. Operating faculties Dr. SS Yadav, HOD- urology & renal transplant, SMS hospital, Dr. Vimal Kant Yadav HOD – Cardiac surgery & transplant, Apex Hospital & Dr. Sandeep Jain, Director & chief Consultant Hepatobiliary surgeon, C K Birla hospital, Dr. KK Sharma President RUS, Dr. Sohan K Sharma Asst. Prof. Cardiology Dept. SMS Hospital and Dr. Ritesh Mehta and Dr. Chirag Gupta, Urology Dept of JNU hospital were the operative faculty in this live webinar and demonstrated surgical tips and techniques.
