Pulse polio is an immunization initiated by Govt. of India to eliminate polio in India by vaccinating all the children under the age of 5 years against the polio virus. Students of nursing participated in pulse polio campaign. This was really a great effort by students of nursing. They visited home, schools and surrounding community with full of enthusiasm. Nursing Students also gave health education to lactating women’s for how to take care of child, importance of breast feeding and why vaccination is important for Child.
