Florence nightingale’s birthday is celebrated as International Nurses Day (Nurse-Service to Humanity) with joy and enthusiasm every year on 12th may worldwide. School of Nursing celebrated International Nurses Day at SIILAS Auditorium JNU. The programme was inaugurated by the chief guest Prof. H. N Verma, Vice -Chancellor JNU and Prof D.S Bhatia, Director SIILAS. Various cultural activities including dance, poem and skit introduced. Video of Florence nightingale biography was shown to students. Small mimicry skit by students of B.Sc.Nursing 3rd year was shown. There was cake cutting ceremony for International Nurses Day.
