National Tourism Day (WTD) is a national event held annually by the tourism industry all over the nation on 25th January 2024.
The main purpose of celebrating National Tourism Day is to raise the importance of tourism nationwide and to show the general public how tourism affects not only the economic values of a country or region but also it affects the social, political, and cultural values of the country or region. Around the world, the tourism sector is a leading source of employment, supporting many millions of jobs and driving economies forward at the local, international and the national level.
The School of SHMCT at JNU, Jaipur celebrated National Tourism Day - 2024, on the theme “Sustainable journeys and timeless memory” Mr.Naveen Saxena was present as a special guest during the event and shared their experiences related to Tourism Industry.
The session was very interactive for 24 students. About 84% of students suggested that this kind of event was so effective and should be done on regular basis.
