Department had organized a webinar on “Monitoring of Liquid-Filled Transformer Through Oil Analysis”. The session was addressed by Dr. Mithun Mondal Assistant Professor, (Department of Electrical Engineering at Birla Institute of Technology and Science), Pilani. This webinar introduced students to the Current Research Areas in Transformer Oil like ageing effects, Investigation of oil breakdown using various sensors / FRA Studies, Thermal / Cooling behavior, Effect of electric field / high temperature / impulse voltage, Nano-fluids etc.
