School of Hotel Management & Catering Technology, Jaipur National University organized its 2nd National Conference titled “National Conference on Contemporary Trends & Practices in Hospitality & Tourism Emphasising “Neo Tourism in VUCA World”. This proved to be a platform to bring together eminent academicians, industry experts, researchers and students who showcased the contemporary trends and emerging issues of the tourism and hospitality industry. The conference was a big success and it posed as another milestone in the history of tourism was believed to have contributed dedicatedly to the vast ocean of knowledge of tourism and hospitality industry and give rise to new models and theories. The delegates from different states of the country as well as various corners of the world enthralled the conference with their provoking thoughts and concepts.
About 18 research papers were presented in the Conference. The total strength of students was 59. All the delegates who presented their paper were felicitated in the valedictory session. The conference was a bench mark for the forthcoming conferences and contributed authentic research topics to the academic ocean of tourism and hospitality not only in the state but in the Country as well. About 87% of participants suggested that this kind of conference was so effective and should be done on regular basis. The resource persons also felt that the energy level of student were high and show interest in his activity. So next time also he wants to conduct this type of conferences.
