Dimensions of Existential, Relatedness and Growth (ERG) Needs of Medical Students for Rural Posting: An Analytical Study

The study explored the dimensions of Existential, relatedness, and Growth needs of doctors working in rural places. The test results showed that Doctor’s working in rural areas have more expectations for basic needs. While relatedness and growth needs also play an ideal role in deciding the rural placements.

The final items obtained after factor analysis were thirty three (Table 1).
