Chemical engineers have very vital role in cement industry. Therefore, an industrial visit was organized at cement industry (ACC Cement Ltd, Lakheri, Rajasthan) to provide industrial knowledge to the students. Students visited the live manufacturing plants of Pozzolana and Portland cement. Students closely observed the working of electrostatic precipitator, rotary kiln, pre-heater and cyclone separator.
