Wonderful Experience with Lovely Students of SOE

Group of 46 members comprising two faculty members, tour organizer Mr.Girish and students of M.Ed., B.Ed., B.Sc. B.Ed., B.A. B.Ed., and B.A. (pass course) went to Delhi-Shimla-Manali on 31st March 2017 and came back on 6th April 2017.

Our journey commenced from Gandhinagar station in Jaipur for Delhi on 31st March 2017. We reached Delhi Cantt. At around 10:30 a.m. immediately we boarded the bus for the rest of the tour.

Our first destination was Qutub Minar in Delhi. Qutub Minar is a minaret that forms part of the Qutb complex, a UNESCO World Heritage Site in the Mehrauli area of Delhi, India.

After completing this site we proceeded towards NCERT (National Council of Educational Research and Training). NCERT assists and advises the central and state governments on academic matters related to school education. Here Dr. Rajendra Pal (Associate Professor, Division of Educational Research National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT)) helped a lot .

We were explained the integration of technology in teaching learning process and how to enrich the overall education. Students were much benefited and after the session they were also shown the video and audio recording and editing process in developing ICT tools for teaching and learning.

After Delhi we proceeded to Shimla, we reached Shimla at 10:30 a.m.on 1st April 2017. Shimla’s weather was cool and fresh.

After having our lunch at hotel we headed towards IIAS (Indian Institute of Advanced Study). Indian Institute of Advanced Study (IIAS) is a research institute based in Shimla, India. It was set up by the Ministry of Education, Government of India in 1964 and it started functioning from 20 October 1965.
