An Industrial visit was planned to RCDF on 24 March 2022. RCDF is one of the oldest dairy product and milk processing factory in Jaipur. The main produces include buttermilk, ice cream, paneer, ghee, shrikhand, milk.
Students were shown paneer production section where paneer was being produced in large quantity. Then they visited pasteurization unit where milk is pasteurized to kill the micro -organism present in milk and enhance the keeping quality. Students also visited the Quality control sector where milk and milk product was checked for their quality by different test methods like MBRT etc. milk packaging unit was also shown to them.
Such industrial visit play an important role to inculcate practical knowledge.
