An industrial visit to “Lords Chloro Alkali Pvt. Ltd., Alwar, and Rajasthan” was organized by the Department of Chemical Engineering, School of Engineering and Technology on 25th March, 2022. A total of 20 members (17 students and 3 faculty members) took part in the visit. The aim of guest lecture was to enlighten students and faculty members with the industrial operation and working of Chlor-Alkali plant. The administration and staff of the plant was very cordial, helpful and enthusiastic to the visitors. They very aptly showed and explained all the sections of the plant and their working. The queries raised by the students were satisfactorily answered by the administration and staff. The faculty members were able to explain practical applications of the fundamentals of chemical engineering and show scale of a plant that they need to work with to the students. The company also arranged for delightful and nutritious breakfast and dinner in pleasant ambience of their mess. Mr. Purushottam Dass Matta, AGM-HR and other senior administrative members given ample amount of time out of their busy schedule to interact with students, answer their queries as well as guide and motivate them for joining this brilliant company. The industrial visit was very informative and fruitful and all the queries raised by the students were answered by the administration and staff satisfactorily.
