OBJECTIVE OF THE SESSION
To provide an exposure to students about manufacturing steps and equipment used in medical imaging instruments specially X-ray and C-arm fluoroscopy in industrial practices.
OUTCOMES:
- 1. To understand the concept of medical imaging assembling
- 2. To make them visualize & learn about the technique of assembling, PCB board making including the all the parameters like safety, installation and transportation etc.
- 3. To make them understand about the emerging possibilities in the area of instrumentation
Department of Biomedical Engineering conducted an Industrial Visit to Epsilon Healthcare Solution Pvt. Ltd., Bagru on 19th November, 2022 to familiarize students with manufacturing steps, equipment used, sanitation and hygiene practices followed in Medical Instrumentation industry.
During the visit, students learnt about the assembling, manufacturing, installing and packing, Students observed the use of machines and equipment like transformers, C-arm fluoroscopy, PCB etc. They also observed the state excise norms, hygiene, cleanliness and medical safety features of the Medical Instrumentation Industry.
