Objective of the Session

To provide an exposure to students about manufacturing steps and equipment used in Bakery Industries and to gain awareness about industrial practices.

The industrial visit to Kanha Group's Bakery Plant was organized by Department of Food Technology. A total of 61 students of B.Tech. Food Technology participated in this insightful industrial visit. The primary objective of the visit was to provide students with practical exposure to the bakery industry, specifically focusing on the production processes of various bakery products ranging from Rusk, Bread, Buns, Pizza Base, Pao, and Cookies. They were having the advanced and sophisticated machinery used in the production processes. This comprehensive exposure allowed students to witness the different stages of production, from raw material handling to final packaging. This interaction enriched the students' understanding of real-world applications of their academic knowledge. Overall it proved to be a valuable learning experience for the participating students. The students expressed their enthusiasm for more such industrial visit opportunities in the future.
