A one-day extension activity on Say no to plastic was organized by School of Life and Basic Sciences, Jaipur National University, Jaipur in association with Unnat Bharat Abhiyan on 29 July, 2023. The resource person of the event was Dr. Abimanyu Sharma, PDF Entrepreneur, Entrepreneurship & Career Hub, University of Rajasthan. The programme started with the talk by Dr. Abimanyu Sharma. The total number of 30 students participated in the event. Students have narrated about the effects of plastic on the environment, the rationale for stopping the single-use plastic and creative thoughts and ideas on strategies to stop the use of single-use plastic. s. It was ensured that all the students wore safety gloves while the drive was in progress. All waste was segregated as plastic, glass, other waste and collected in different sacks.
