Plantation Ceremony was organized at Jaipur National University on 24th August, 2022 by the Department of English (School of Languages, Literature, and Society). The aim of the Plantation Ceremony, was to inculcate love for mother earth and nature amongst students. The main objective behind the Plantation Ceremony was to focus the students’ attention on importance of planting trees and to inculcate in them an awareness for saving the environment and tree consciousness for a social cause. The aim of the Department was to promote Go-Green agenda of the university among new students.
The event took place at the Triangular Garden under the guidance of Dr. Rana Zaidi, HOD Department of English, who welcomed the new students and enlightened them all with importance of Plantation.
