Jan 05, 2022

Mother Earth Project is being conducted all over the world to encourage people worldwide to commit to sustainable actions and Sustainable Development Goals, (SDG), to ensure each day for action to save and protect our planet. The faculty members and the students of School of Computer & Systems Sciences participated in the ‘Parachutes for the Planet, A Mother Earth Project’ initiative. ‘Parachute for the Planet’ is a youth-inspired collective international art project illustrating shared concern for the climate change. The Mother Earth Project encourages communities to create several ‘Parachutes for the Planet’ exhibitions around the world.

The students made an enchanting painting on a parachute (Non-functional) to showcase that we need to make the earth habitable and that we should conserve, preserve, and sustain it. The faculty members also joined the students in making this sketch. The enthusiastic students of BCA and MCA focused their attention on the Sustainable development. The theme of parachute painting “Wastage of Energy costs Earth” depicted their conception of climate change as a scientific and environmental issue.
