School of Life and Basic Sciences organized had organized Mehandi competition on Novenber 11, 2023. Mehndi is a reflection of the rich Indian culture, bringing together the knowledge of medicinal herbs with many lovely sentiments and beliefs. The result is a ceremony filled with fun and joy and the perfect precursor to the auspicious wedding day. Vedic customs are centered on the idea of "awakening the inner light". The teacher incharge for the competition were Ms. Annu yadav and Ms. Anupama Pareek The competition was held in SIILAS ROOM NO F-4 at 1.30.P.M. The teachers with the knowledge of mehendi designs were invited as judges. The judges were Dr. Meena Godha and Ms. Shilpi Bhagga. Traditional Indian designs are representations of the sun on the palm, which, in this context, is intended to represent the hands.
