One Day awareness program on “ Har Ghar Shudh Jal” for villagers was organized by School of Life and Basic Sciences, Jaipur National University, Jaipur in collaboration with Unnat Bharat Abhiyan (A Joint Effort Ministry of Education & IIT Delhi) on 2nd March, 2024. The resource person of the program was Prof. Krishna mohan, Senior Scientist (Birla Institute of Scientific Research, Jaipur). The objective of the activity wereTo raises awareness about the significance of clean water for health, sanitation, and overall well-being. Prof. Krishna mohan discussed the essentiality of clean water for good health, hygiene, and sanitation. He also stated that community participation is crucial for the success of the initiative. He suggested simple practices like rainwater harvesting and proper sanitation methods which can be potentially be helpful in preserving water sources.
