Students of Allied Health Sciences, Hotel management and Food Technology donned their ‘Chef Caps’ to exhibit their culinary skills in ‘Fireless Cooking’ Inter School competition. Students participated with full zeal and enthusiasm as they doled out nutritious recipes. Artifactsand food items displayed were a visual treat and were presented in an artistic and aesthetic style. Dishes were judged on nutrition and taste by esteemed judges Prof. Bhatia, Prof. Dheera and Dr. Jyotsana. Their efforts were evaluated on the basis of five parameters i.e.,name of the dish name, taste, presentation, calorie content and hygiene. Participants infused lots of creativity and served delicious eatables to enhance the taste buds. Judges were overawed by the efforts of the participants and results were announced amidst tough competition. The event not only provided a platform for the students to foster their creativity and decision-making skills but also helped them explore their hidden talents and discover new areas of interest.
