There is a famous quote that ‘Science & Technology goes hand in hand’. To prove this quote a lecture was delivered on ‘Nano-technology and its applications in future aspects’ by Dr. Indu Chauhan, Assistant Professor, Dr. B. R. Ambedkar NIT, Jalandhar. She put her views on synthesization and characterization techniques of Nano-materials with various applications in different fields of engineering. The second event organized on this occasion was technical quiz. Extensive publicity of the event was done in all the branches of SOET by the student volunteers involved resulting in 15 teams from CSE, CH, BT & FT Branches. The Third event organized on this occasion was Extempore. For delivery of speech/ideas, 32 topics were selected by event coordinator and at random these topics were chosen by participants. Students performed very well in this event.
